Why mobile-first matters in Kenya

For millions of Kenyan professionals, the smartphone is the primary computing device. Not everyone has a laptop at home, and shared office computers are often unavailable for personal learning. According to the Communications Authority of Kenya, mobile internet subscriptions far exceed fixed broadband connections. This is not a limitation to apologise for. It is the reality we design around.

Weekend (1 hour total): Community and catch-up. Check into a learning community (WhatsApp group, Discord server, or forum). Share what you learned. Ask questions about concepts that are not clicking. Use any remaining time to catch up on missed sessions.

This schedule totals approximately five hours. Adjust session lengths based on your commute, lunch breaks, and evening availability. The structure matters more than strict time adherence.

Managing data costs
